Game information

Arrow Trails is a puzzle about clearing a board of colourful, winding arrows. Each arrow can leave only in the direction of its head, while neighbouring paths may block its way. Find the right order, remove every arrow and reveal another illustration for an album of 240 pictures.

How to play Arrow Trails

Choose Play or continue your saved level. The first three puzzles introduce the rules with small arrangements. Later boards form more detailed silhouettes, with longer paths and several bends to follow.

  1. Find an arrowhead and imagine extending its direction all the way to the edge of the board.
  2. If the route is clear, tap any part of that arrow. It follows its bends and slides out of the puzzle.
  3. If another arrow blocks the route, remove the obstruction first. Colour helps you distinguish paths; it does not decide which moves are legal.
  4. Keep going until the final arrow leaves. The completed illustration appears and the next level becomes available.

There is no timer, so you can study the board and plan several moves ahead. Every puzzle has a solution without using assistance. Zooming and panning help you inspect the crowded areas of a larger board.

Hearts and collisions

You begin an attempt with three hearts. Tapping an arrow with a blocked exit leaves it in place, highlights the obstruction and costs one heart. The third collision ends the attempt, and you can restart that level.

A completed picture earns one to three stars, matching the number of hearts you have left. To improve a result, open the Album, select an available level and play it again. Your best star rating is retained.

Hints and the magnet

Each attempt provides three hints and one magnet. Their remaining counts appear on the buttons below the board.

  • Hint highlights an arrow that can currently leave. It does not remove the arrow for you: inspect its head and make the move yourself.
  • Magnet removes up to three available arrows in sequence. The space they leave behind can make the next part of the solution easier to see.

Restarting a level restores these helpers. You do not need to buy coins to use them.

Your album and saved progress

The illustrations combine original characters with different postcard scenes. Meet a fox, whale, rocket, cat, little dragon and other subjects among stars, flowers, bubbles and celebration details. The puzzles gradually grow, with larger grids and more interwoven routes.

Completed results and your own unfinished puzzle are saved, including removed arrows, hearts and remaining helpers. Registered players keep their progress in their account. Guest progress stays separate on the current device. The message below the controls shows the save status.

Playing with friends

Use Invite a friend to the game to solve the same board with accepted friends. A room supports up to eight real participants, including its owner. Participant cursors and names appear on the field. Agree on which area to investigate so you can help each other open routes. Personal results require your own participation, and visiting someone else's room preserves your separate unfinished picture.

Tips

  • Start by looking near the edges, but check each head's direction. Being close to the boundary does not automatically make an arrow free.
  • Inspect a newly opened corridor after every exit. One removal can unlock an entire sequence of moves.
  • Zoom into a difficult area instead of rushing to tap tiny heads. Fit board returns you to the overall view.
  • Keep the magnet for a section where several long paths are hard to follow, and use a highlighted hint as an example of a clear exit.
