Game information
Penguins Attack 3D is a tower defense strategy game about holding a grid against penguins, tanks and aircraft. Build a defensive layout, shape the ground route and survive every wave. Your towers fire automatically while you decide where to spend coins, which positions to strengthen and when to let the next group arrive.
How to play Penguins Attack 3D
Choose an available field and start defending. Before calling the first wave, take time to inspect the obstacles and place your opening towers. A machine gun costs 10 coins, so several inexpensive guns can cover a useful stretch of the route. Select a tower from the arsenal, then select an empty cell. Green placement feedback marks a valid position.
Rocks, occupied cells and the outside border cannot hold towers. You must also leave a route from both entrances to their exits. Watch the turns and use the visible route line to see where ground enemies will travel. Placing a new tower changes the maze, so attackers may take a different path afterwards.
Call the first wave when your layout is ready. Defeated enemies award coins, score and experience. Spend the battle's coins on more towers or upgrades. Select an existing tower to inspect its damage, range, firing interval and target types. The range circle shows whether its position covers the part of the route you intended.
Twelve fields and changing waves
There are eight main campaign fields and four bonus fields. Campaign victories open the next main map, while player levels unlock the bonus maps. Each field has its own obstacles, entrances, starting money and wave sequence. The first field contains 30 waves; other fields have different totals.
After the first wave starts, later waves arrive on a timer. Once the early-call button is available, you can bring the next wave forward for extra score. This also puts more enemies on the field at once. Construction remains available during combat, provided the chosen cell is free and the route stays open.
Every field starts with 25 lives. Each enemy that escapes takes one life, and reaching zero ends the defence. To win, send every wave and clear the remaining enemies. Defeated attackers, remaining lives and unspent coins all contribute to the final score.
Nine kinds of tower
Your arsenal contains the machine gun, bio tower, Tesla coil, flamethrower, flak cannon, plasma tower, missile tower, mortar and laser tower. They differ in price, range, firing speed and the enemies they can target. An expensive weapon still needs a position that gives it enough time to attack.
The bio tower can slow ground enemies, while the flamethrower can set them burning. Flak and missile attacks add damage around their targets, and the mortar fires arcing shells that damage an area. Several weapons can attack both ground and air units. Check the target information before buying, especially when aircraft are becoming a threat.
Ground penguins follow the open maze, but planes and helicopters fly over it. Ground forces also include faster runners, tougher enemies, tanks and enemies that restore their own health. A successful layout combines sustained coverage of the ground route with weapons placed to cover the flight directions.
Experience, upgrades and saved progress
Experience comes from defensive actions and defeated enemies. Higher player levels unlock more tower types, raise the upgrade limit and add starting money to later battles. Towers have up to five levels, with the current ceiling determined by your progress.
Upgrades use coins from the current battle. Selling a tower frees its cell and returns that tower type's basic refund; the money spent on upgrades is not returned. Compare its coverage with the new route before deciding whether to improve it or replace it.
Results and unfinished defences save to your account when signed in. Guest progress stays separately on the device. Continue returns to the saved battle with its existing layout. After a result, wait for the save confirmation; if saving fails, use the retry action before moving on.
Defend together
Invite a friend to the game opens the shared friends tools. Up to eight participants, including the owner, can defend one field together. Players build and upgrade the same defence and see each other's pointers. That field belongs to the owner's campaign; a visiting friend's own unfinished battle remains separate.
Tips
- Cover sections where the ground route stays within reach of several towers for longer.
- Keep some money for air-capable weapons. Aircraft do not have to follow your maze.
- Call waves early when the defence is coping comfortably, rather than chasing the score bonus alone.
- Compare a tower's range circle with the actual route before paying for an expensive upgrade.
- In a solo game, pause to inspect the field. Use 2× or 3× speed once the layout is handling the current threats.
