Game information
Steal the Oddlings is a 3D game about collecting unusual creatures, developing a base and raiding your neighbours. Buy oddlings on the red carpet, give them a place at your base and collect the coins they earn. Spend that income on more building space, extra floors and stronger defences. With 100 species across seven rarity tiers, you have to decide whether to buy an affordable addition now or save for a more valuable creature.
You can share a playing field with friends, show off your collections, visit neighbouring bases and compete to develop your own. Register on IGROFLOT, add your friends and use the Invite a friend to the game button. A room holds up to eight players, including its owner, and everyone sharing the field must be friends with one another.
How to play Steal the Oddlings
- Start the game and follow the marker to your base. A new base starts with 200 coins and empty spaces for your first oddlings.
- Approach an available creature on the red carpet. Check its price and buy it; it will then make its own way to your base.
- Let your oddlings earn some income, then collect the accumulated coins at the green pad by the entrance. Buy more creatures or invest in your base.
- Watch your base capacity and bank limit. Add spaces and floors when your base fills up, and collect your money when the bank reaches its limit.
- Expand your collection, grow your favourite creatures and protect them. Before trying to steal an oddling, make sure you know the route back to your base.
Collection and rarity
The Collection section shows the species you have unlocked and helps you spot gaps in your collection. Common and rarer oddlings have different prices and earning rates. Creatures move along the carpet, so keep an eye out for the one you want. Even an expensive oddling still needs a free space: a full base cannot accept another creature.
You can sell a creature you no longer want to free up its space. Selling removes it from your base and stops its earnings, so weigh the value of that space against the steady income you will lose before confirming. The game also includes a daily gift and achievement rewards.
The bank and base development
Your oddlings' earnings build up separately from the coins in your wallet. The bank initially holds 100,000 coins, with upgrades raising that limit to 250,000, 500,000 and 1,000,000. A full bank stops accepting income until you collect the money. A higher limit is particularly useful before a long break.
Use the building menu to expand the ground floor and build up to ten floors. Each new upper floor adds eight spaces. Building the second floor unlocks a staircase you can walk up. Green and blue pads also let you travel between floors: approach one and use the action shown on screen. A money fountain boosts income, while flooring, lights, towers, a garden and paint let you customise the base's appearance.
Growth and mutations
Over time, oddlings acquire golden, crystal, neon and cosmic mutations. These change their appearance and increase their earning rate. Growth is a separate upgrade: ten upgrades purchased with coins increase a chosen creature's size, reaching up to ×3.9 its original model size.
Growth changes size, not earnings. To build up coins faster, consider a creature's income and mutation. To make a favourite stand out, grow it. Leave room between nearby spaces for larger creatures so your collection is easier to see.
Stealing and defence
You can take an oddling from an opponent's open base while its owner is in the game. You need a free space at your own base and a way to reach the creature. Once you have picked it up, carry it back to your base's green pad. Carrying an oddling slows you down, and its owner can catch you and slap it out of your hands to recover it.
The red button activates temporary laser protection, and upgrades extend its duration. Banana and spring traps hinder intruders; a creature dropped when a trap goes off returns to its owner. Keep an eye on your defences: check the timer and entrance before leaving your base.
Friends and offline bases
The shared friends menu lets you join friends in the game or view their saved bases. Opponents with their own names and collections occupy available plots. Playing on the same field lets you watch each other's progress and attempt raids while the owners are online.
When a friend is absent, lasers protect their saved base: you cannot enter or steal an oddling. You can still look at the collection through the fence. Deliver any creature you are carrying before switching to another field.
Inventory and saving
A registered player can move one oddling into their account inventory. This frees up a base space and preserves the creature's current mutation and growth. While in the inventory, it earns no income and its mutation does not continue to change. You can return it at your own green pad if your base has a free space.
Your account saves your coins, collection, buildings and rewards. While you are away, your base earns income for up to eight hours, subject to the bank limit. Coins are spent within Steal the Oddlings and are separate from IGROFLOT rating points. The screenshot button downloads a picture of your collection to your device.
Tips
- Collect income before the bank fills up. Regular collection lets your oddlings keep earning.
- Keep a space free before a raid. Without one, your base cannot accept a stolen creature.
- Match upgrades to your goal. More oddlings and the money fountain help you earn; growth changes the look of your collection.
- Plan your escape before stealing. Carrying a creature makes the return trip slower than the outward journey.
- Prepare your base before a break. Collect your money and check the bank limit to make use of earnings while you are away.
